Cache Creek Machine Shop 2019 is a proud supporter of the British Columbia Arthritis Society. In 2019, along with our participation in the 10th annual Kamloops Walk for Arthritis, we were happy to be named the top fundraising team to participate in the event.

We truly value our relationships throughout our local community and hope to foster even more meaningful connections as we continue to grow moving forward.

The Prince's Trust, Prince's Operation Entrepreneur program has played an integral roll in the development of many new businesses including that of Cache Creek Machine Shop 2019 Ltd. This organization provides transitioning Canadian military personnel and veterans with the education, tools and resources needed to successfully open and operate their own businesses.

Joe Wright, President of Cache Creek Machine Shop 2019, is now a mentor himself and provides valuable knowledge to new veteran business owners as part of the Prince's Trust Canada network.

As part of our commitment to the community, Cache Creek Machine Shop Ltd. provides sponsorship for a variety of organizations that make a positive impact. We are proud to support the British Columbia Little Britches Rodeo Association, the British Columbia High School Rodeo Association, the British Columbia Cutting Horse Association, and the British Columbia Barrel Racing Association. Joe is a 10 year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. He has completed multiple operations foreign and domestic. Serving as a Marine Engineering Technician, his responsibilities included operation and maintenance of the Ships plant at sea and alongside. He also maintained a qualification as an elite Ships Diver aboard multiple classes of Canadian Warships. After retiring from the Royal Canadian Navy, Joe entered the Mining sector as a maintenance millwright while creating Double U Industrial Mechanical Services Ltd, which has now successfully transitioned to Cache Creek Machine Shop 2019 Ltd.

LOUISE MUNSON

University of Victoria

 

After graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Louise enjoyed many years as a civilian contractor to the Military as a member of the Personel Support Program. She then went on to run a successful small business for 8 years before closing and moving to Kamloops. Louise was the Business Development Manager for Double U Industrial Mechanical Services, and now Cache Creek Machine Shop 2019 and is responsible for business/client relations throughout British Columbia.
